Ever so humbled….
I have been having a really bad morning, as I sat down to do our taxes. We have been waiting on our accountant to finally get the business taxes done and to us so we could do our own. I hate last minute, and hate taxes. Let’s just say the combination is making me more than a little grouchy.
I wanted to take a break, and do something that makes me feel happy, honored, and humbled. I want to thank all those who read my blog, and especially those who were so kind as to nominate ME not once, but twice, in this year’s Homeschool Blog Awards.
I never bought the line “It is just an honor to be nominated” until now. I look at the other nominees and am amazed that some of you thought enough of my ramblings to include me among published authors and respected writers.
Voting will begin on April 9th, and continue through April 15th. I would greatly appreciate any and all votes. I am nominated in categories of “Best Crafts, Plans, and Projects Blog” and “Best Encourager,” btw.
Thank you all for such unexpected encouragment. It is amazing that in writing to uplift and share with others, I receive such appreciate in return. You are the best!

I am the mother of two wonderful children, ages 12 & 15, that I have been homeschooling using a blend of Charlotte Mason and unit studies for ten years. My hubby is a terrific dad, contractor and big kid, and we also have two furry, four-legged children others would call “dogs.” I am a total crafty mama, trying my hand at almost anything, and enjoying most.

Its not just your weblog that I appreciate, its your presence in the online community, your supportive comments, and the wonderful way I can be reading some obscure little weblog and come across a message to the author from you, encouraging them, making them feel welcome.
You really are a great encourager. Your comments have gotten me through a bit of deary weather. You so deserve the nomination.
